This development by Pilet & Renaud is an utter gem. The owner of the plot, which housed two filled-in reservoirs, first looked into the possibility of constructing office space. Our teams then had the idea of transforming this unique spot into residential accommodation. The construction work involved uncovering the original structure and removing the earth from the former reservoirs. The concrete surfaces of the reservoirs needed extensive cleaning, but the finished project made it all worthwhile. The four high-end loft-style apartments are aesthetically striking, with plant-covered façades. The building was designed with a high level of respect for the environment in mind and features a rainwater harvesting system, heat pump and solar panels.
